Berg Global Consulting, founded by Dorothee Berg in Switzerland, brings together three areas of professional practice that are rarely found under one roof: senior finance leadership, executive coaching, and equine-guided leadership development.
They are not three separate services that happen to share a website.
They are three different ways of asking the same question — what is the gap between where you are and where you need to be, and what is actually in the way.
In finance, that question surfaces in the numbers. In coaching, it surfaces in conversation. In the arena, it surfaces in the response of a horse that has no interest in your title or your performance.
The answer is always specific to the person. The question is always the same.

Dorothee Berg founded Berg Global Consulting in Switzerland after twenty years at CFO and Finance Director level across SMEs, scale-ups, associations, foundations, and family businesses in Swiss Romande and beyond.
Her academic path began in human resources management — the human side first, always. She went on to complete a Master's in economics, then qualified as a chartered accountant — FCCA, Fellowship of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants — and later as a professional coach, ICF ACC.
She has been in contact with horses for over thirty years. That is not a professional add-on. It is where the equine leadership work comes from.

As her hearing loss progressed, she developed a heightened attention to what is present beyond words — posture, energy, the quality of silence, the micro-signals that most people miss because they are listening to the words. It was not a conscious choice. It became a skill.

She works in French, English, and German.

Berg Global Consulting operates on one conviction: that most of the gaps people experience in their professional lives — in how they lead, how they are perceived, how their organisations perform — are not knowledge gaps. They are awareness gaps.

The information is often already there. What is missing is the space, the structure, or the mirror that makes it visible.

Berg Global Consulting is based in Switzerland. Finance and governance mandates are provided in Swiss Romande. Executive coaching is available worldwide, in person or remotely. Equine leadership sessions are held at an equestrian centre between Geneva and Lausanne, Switzerland.
